We just completed our first Destination E-Session of Laura & Aaron in Las Vegas Nevada. Here are some samples of the images.

Joe DeFabis owner of DeFabis has introduced the newest item in wedding favors that will be available for 2010 weddings.  This unique favor is a booklet of the couples Engagement images that measures 2.5 x4  inches in size, (it is an exact duplicate of their wedding guest sign in book).  The miniature albums are made in Italy by Graphi Studio who has been binding Mr DeFabis' wedding albums for the last 5 years. " This is truly the most unique and personal gift that a bride and groom can give to their guests, I doubt that any of them will be left on the tables at a reception " , Says DeFabis.

The miniature books sell as low as $3.50 each and are available with all engagement sessions at DeFabis Photography.

  LATEST RAVE ! From Mia & jameson Married on 8/22/09 - Defabis' photography was very creative, he was a pleasure to work with. The photos turned out beautifully, I could not have asked for a better photographer. Thank you so much for capturing all of our memories.

Our wedding images won a First Place Award and two Second Place Awards in the IPPG ( Indianapolis Professional Photographers Guild ) Fall workshop this past weekend at Spring Mill State Park.  The workshop featured Colleen and Dart, two amazing senior portrait photographers from Pennsylvania as well as hosting the IPPG Fall Print Competition.  This was our second year in taking both First and Second Place awards for the folio competition which also merited ( score of 80 or more ) Our Wedding Album Courtney and Ben received a second place award from the albums entered.

Tuesday June 2, 2009 I participated in a mentoring session for other wedding photographers at Oak Hill Mansion.  During my demonstration I taught how to use video light at weddings to get some different looking images.  Here re three of them.

Congratulations to all the 2009 graduates of Brebeuf Jesuit !  This was my last year photographing Seniors at Brebeuf on a contract basis, although I will still be accepting Senior Portrait sessions, the main focus of our Business here at DeFabis Photography will be Weddings.  It was a pleasure serving the faculty, staff and families at Brebeuf for the past 14 years.  My experience at Brebeuf has been one that I will always treasure.  I look forward to keeping in touch with all the families and students I have met this year and over the past 14 years during my association.
