Indiana Photographer Receives Second "Fuji Masterpiece Award"
Fuji Masterpiece Award Goes To Indiana Photographer Joseph DeFabis
Fuji Photo Film U.S.A. is proud to announce that Joseph E DeFabis, wedding photogrpaher in Indianapolis, IN won the Fujifilm Masterpiece Award for photographic excellence in the year 2012 at the recent Professional Photogrpahers of Indiana State Convention. Joseph received the award for the wedding album, "Sunset Wedding", in the wedding album category. This is Mr DeFabis' second Fuji Masterpiece award in the last three years.

Fujifilm is proud to honor photographers who strive to create images of excellence and distinction with its prestigious Fujifilm Masterpiece Award. The award is given to the maker of the best image in its category at annual print competitions held by affiliates of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).The Fujifilm Masterpiece Award recognized photographic excellence in several distinct categories: Wedding, Portrait, Commercial/Industrial, Illustrative, Electronic Imaging and three Art/Tech categories.
Fuji Masterpiece Award Given To Best Indiana Photogrpaher / Wedding Album
The Fujifilm Masterpiece Award is given to the best image or album, usually indicated by the highest score, in its category at annual print competitions held by PPA affiliates. In 2012 the awards were given in the United States of America, Canada, and the Republic of Ireland. The image or album must score at least an 80 out of a potential of 100 points to be eligible for the award. The judges must agree that it best represents the category with the highest level of professional photography. Images that meet all the criteria will be judged for the award. Employees of Fuji Photo Film, U.S.A., Inc. are not eligible to win the award. There are five potential photographic categories for the 2012 competition year, commerical, Portrait, Wedding, Wedding Album, Illustrative.
The Fujifilm Masterpiece Awards are presented to the winners at the respective PPA affiliate annual convention awards banquet where they will receive a trophy that represents their achievement. this is Mr DeFabis's second Fuji Masterpiece Award in three years. this is one of the highest award and Indiana photogrpaher can receive.
